Volunteers Needed Now for Senior Breakfast

Krum High School has set the date for Thursday, May 24, beginning at 7:30 a.m. Donations can be made to the church now to cover costs for this nearly 60-year-old tradition that began so long ago in our church with a graduating class of six.
Area merchants have given generously through the years to provide door prizes for many in the senior class. An established part of Senior Week, the students still dress up for this breakfast before heading for graduation rehearsal.
Veterans from past years and newcomers are needed to prepare, locate equipment, buy supplies, clear the sanctuary floor completely, set up the tables and chairs, prepare and cook the food, serve, provide a short program, clean up, and return the chairs to the sanctuary. People who can come Wednesday evening for set up are needed while others are needed for morning prep, serving during the breakfast, cleaning up …as usual, we need a lot of people. And if you can’t be there, Volunteers can also help with the planning itself.
Come participate in a major Krum–and Krum First UMC– school tradition!
