Our program is designed to meet many of the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the children of the community. It stimulates creativity and individuality, promotes Christian values, and provides a preschool environment that prepares children for the next level of education. CDO is a mission extension of the First United Methodist Church. It exists as a service for parents who believe a preschool is beneficial to their children, and for children who typically grow to love their teachers and have fun.

The Children's Day Out Program began the  2012-2013 school year with enthusiam!  We currently have over 80 children in CDO and our Extended/After-school program.  The flexibility of our schedule (allowing 1-5 days care and half-days) has allowed families to enroll their child in our program and not feel they are leaving their child all day in day care.

We have six age groups which include six weeks to those entering kindergarten next year.  Our pre-k kindergarten class will have the children more than ready for their debut in kindergarten.  Infants and Toddlers will be much loved and tenderly taught as our 2-4 aged group will begin their road to many adventures in learning.

In addition, we offer after-school care for children in K-5th grade.  The cost is $10 per day or $40.00 per week.  Children have a play time, homework time and snack during their 3:00-6:00 p.m. stay.

CDO has become known as the pre-school with daycare hours.  Parents can drop their child off Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. and know that a quality education is being taught from 8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.  In addition, before and after-school care for school-age children is offered.  New families are joining us weekly!  Come grow with us!

The Children’s Day Out Summer Program offers quality, Christian care for your child from June through the middle of August. Throughout each day the children engages their energy through play, crafts, music, chapel, special snacks, games and other educational activities.

Our program offers a variety of options for you as a parent. A child may attend 1-5 days per week.  Tuition prices vary according to your child's attendance. Each week our children experience the world of discovery through art, science, chapel, music, circle time, recreation, and reading.

Our facility is open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Our regular school hours are 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.. Extended care is for children in our program from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Cost is $10.00 per day or $40.00 per week.

  Tuition is as follows:

• Pre-K class and Three year olds: $450.00 per month for five days a week.  Tuition will be prorated for less days.
• 18 months to 35 months: $475.00 per month for five days a week.  Tuition will be prorated for less days.
• 17 months & younger: $550.00 per month for five days a week.  Tuition will be prorated for less days.
• Daily Drop In Fee: $30.00
• There are no scholarship programs available at this time.  CDO does accept CCS.
