Children’s Ministry

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me.” And what an invitation that is – always open for all children to discover the joy of being cared for, loved, and accepted.

You are always welcome to bring your little ones to worship with you. Their cries, whispers, and prayers enrich us as a church family.

Sunday School
For our youngest disciples, 12 months through 4 years old, our nursery staff present favorite Bible stories in ways that allow children to move, explore, and play with each lesson.

For our kindergartners through 5th graders, our dedicated volunteer teachers use the Grow! Proclaim! Serve! curriculum. Each lesson includes a Bible story and multiple activities to help a variety of learning styles engage with the message.

Nursery Care
Nursery care is available on Sundays, 9:45am-12noon. If your children are in the nursery during Sunday school, they will participate in the lesson as their age and stage allows. If they are in the nursery during our 11am service, they will join us for our children’s message and then return to their classroom for an abbreviated experience of Sunday school.

As United Methodists, we offer the sacrament of baptism to all, from the newborn to adult. A child is baptized as a sign of God’s grace that is there before we are ever able to name it, as parents and guardians make promises to raise the child in the ways of God. When children are old enough to understand more fully the Good News of Jesus Christ, we bring them through a Confirmation Class into full membership of the church.
